Units and Lessons currently in the bundle are:

4. Body Systems and Cellular Respiration- Students continue their exploration from the previous unit to discover how our body systems convert the food we eat into energy. Lessons include- Research Report on Diseases, The Digestive System, The Respiratory System, The Circulatory System, and Chemical Reaction of Cellular Respiration.

5. Growth and Reproduction- Students return to the cell to find out more about how these living things continue to live, grow, and reproduce. Lessons include- Mitosis and Meiosis.

6. Genetics and Heredity- Students start to focus on how traits get passed down from one generation to the next through basic Mendelian genetic principles. Lessons include- What is DNA?, Heredity- Dominant and Recessive Traits, Heredity- Incomplete and Co-Dominant Traits, Heredity- Sex-linked Traits, and The Genetic Monsters Project.

7. Genetic Mutations- Students investigate whether errors can occur in genes and what the affect of those errors might be. Lessons include – DNA, Proteins, and Traits; Errors in Genetic Material; and Genetic Mutations in Individuals and Populations.
